Where to begin

As with any good strategy, we begin by identifying your needs and goals as a firm. From there we explore the best course of action to take in order to meet objectives and deliver results.

For every financial advisor we work with the methods and means by which we arrive at our benchmarks are unique. We do, however, have a bit of a process. There are certain things that we believe every financial advisor must have and must do in order to remain competitive and relevant in the industry they serve.

We begin by making the bones of a sound marketing strategy because everything must start with a sound foundation, right?

Discovery

Each relationship we have has begun with a phone call. A simple back and forth to help us understand who you are and what your firm is like and help you understand who we are, what we do and whether we'll be a good fit together. Typically, our discovery calls last between 30 minutes to an hour. We review what your existing strategy has been, what has been working for you and what has not, what some of your goals are, what technologies you work with and what your clients are like. Then we talk a little bit about ourselves, give some advice about what we think would benefit you, talk numbers and say goodbye. We follow up with a comprehensive proposal which outlines our scope of work and the cost. Then we leave you alone. If you're interested, we talk again. If not, free advice for you and a nice chat for us.

Design

We wouldn't be very good at our jobs if we didn't think with a designer's eye would we? Once we sign you on and get all of the boring paperwork and payments out of the way. We design your unique marketing strategy. And then we design the elements that are required to achieve this strategy. This means different things to different clients of ours. For some, we are actually creating new logos and designing their websites. For others we are just updating old Facebook pages and creating beautiful new templates for the monthly newsletter. Either way, the outcome is the same. At the end of thirty days you end up with a well-oiled marketing machine that puts your message in front of clients and future clients, speaks volumes of your brand and even more about your taste in marketing firms (audible back-pat).

Implementation

So we've spiffed up your website, custom branded your email marketing templates and made your social media pages something to be proud of. How do we connect all of the channels together and start delivering a message and receiving engagement and lead generation in return? Our technology integrations between the platforms we use make the sharing of content almost seamless. When we write an article for you, we add it to your blog, then it is sent out to your social media profiles, then it is added to your upcoming newsletter. All of this happens with you doing nothing. We manage all of your digital marketing efforts from start to finish -- if you'll let us.

Management

We are, perhaps, the proudest of this part of the process. For this is the one where we get to have a long relationship with you, our client. Management, and our subsequent review phases are the ongoing part of the IA process. Management means that we provide content for and manage all of your newly implemented marketing platforms without you having to do anything except for review and approve the content we provide and have a phone call with us once a month. It sounds good, doesn't it?

Review

As with any strategy, it is paramount to the success of it to take a critical eye to it from time to time to make sure that what you are doing is still working. It is also important to reevaluate objectives and the means by which we arrive at those objectives. Lastly, technology and style move fast, so reviewing what your marketing materials look like, how people are responding to them, and whether they are standing up to new technology is super critical. On a semi-annual basis we have a review meeting. We talk about the images you are using, the layout of your newsletters and other marketing materials, the technology platforms we are using to advance your marketing efforts and other elements of your marketing strategy. We offer ways to make improvements and discuss what it working well. We also take the opportunity to discuss your thoughts on our relationship and if there is anything you feel we can improve upon.
